CREATIVELY ABOUT GREYBOARD

Matchboxes

IMG_1545.jpg

Matchboxes are constructed like drawers, or boxes made for matches.

Basic difference is that both elements are wrapped. Corps, the “drawer” part is made the same way as bottom from lid-bottom box (PSW box type).

Wrapper is made from grooved strip of greyboard, then wrapped in paper. Because of the way it’s attached to itself, it’s not recommended to use laminated paper.

We’ve developed technique for making these types of wrappers by modifying our current machines.
